Sunday Morning Bible Class ( WML )

The Book of Acts, often known as The Acts of the Apostles, tells the story of the incredible transformation of Christ’s disciples from fearful to fearless in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Some prefer to call it The Acts of the Holy Spirit, for it is by His power that they were transformed. Still others refer to it as The Acts of the Risen and Reigning Christ, Part 2 of Luke’s narrative of the life of Christ, now lived out in the lives of His followers.  It is all of these.

Join us for this exciting journey through the birth of the Early Church and the worldwide spread of the Gospel. Get to know your first-century brothers and sisters in Christ. Witness their strength amid weakness, their joy in suffering, and the victories won through adversity. Most importantly, marvel at the power that ignited their passion and enabled them to act, and know that this same power is available to us today. It’s time. It’s time for US to know the strength, joy and victory of being Christ’s followers and ACT!

Each week in this verse-by-verse study, we’ll dive into the historical and cultural context, connect to current issues, and practice effective Bible study skills as we learn to read the Bible in awe of its immeasurable worth!
